The best web based (ajax powered) file manager you ever dreamed about.
...and I'm not kidding!
When I downloaded Extplorer and after having installed it it on my server I was happily suprised.
It really was the 'ajax file

Here the quicklist features of this great tool
- User Management and with different permission levels like for "Viewing only" or "Editing" and "Admin"
- Dynamic Directory Tree with on-demand loading of subdirectories, so you have not to wait long if you have many subfoldres..
- Text Editing capabilities, with Syntax-Highlighting!! for php and css files
- Can manage Zip archives - group and zip, upload and extract
- A great looking and useful "context menu" to access quick actions list
- FTP capabilites (but I have not tried this feature yet)
- Multilanguage
- Can use a database.. but works great without too.

is a perfect valid URL! As a matter of fact, I didn't knew this feature of the protocol till i was faced to solve a problem of mixed content coming from http and https on the same page.

So, with no surprise, advertising is the "king" of this model. The interesting thing in the article can be seen on the cake graph below:
